Barbie's Berries has been specializing in the fresh fruit market since 1996. Barbie's Berries offers a wide variety of berries through out the summer growing season. Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Blackberries are hand picked daily ensuring that you get the freshest berries, straight from the farm.

Fresh berries can be purchased at several Barbie's Berries stand locations through out Whatcom County, and at the Bellingham Haggens Stores in Fairhaven, Meridian, Barkley, Sehome and Ferndale, the Bellingham Fred Meyer Locations on Lakeway and Bakerview and the Safeway store in Lynden.
If you enjoy picking berries you can also pick your own at our U-pick farm in Ferndale Washington.
    Berry harvest schedule is dependant upon Mother Nature and the weather the average seasons are
  • Strawberry harvest starts in early to mid June, and runs through mid July
  • Raspberry harvest starts late June, and runs through late July
  • Blueberry harvest starts mid July and runs through mid August
  • Blackberry harvest starts mid July to late August

Berries are pretty on the outside, but their beauty also runs deep! In a Finnish study, people who ate a half cup of berries daily experienced a significant increase in
HDL ("Good") cholesterol.
Berries are loaded with polyphenols, which seem to encourage the body to produce more of the heart-healthy type of cholesterol.
During Berry Season we will post harvest dates so check back to see what berries are available. During the off season we have Frozen Strawberries available, sugared and sliced in 1 gallon and 2 Gallon sizes. Call for price and availability.
